Role Purpose: The role of the Kitchen Porter is to support with kitchen-based tasks, as directed by the Performance Chef and Chef de Partie, to ensure safe, smooth and effective running of kitchen and catering operations at the Training Ground. The ideal candidate will have some experience of working in a commercial kitchen and be very reliable and flexible to support with the needs of the kitchen. Main Duties/ Responsibilities 1. Assist chefs with basic food preparation where required, 2. Wash and store crockery, cutlery, and kitchen utensils promptly and efficiently, 3. Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely, 4. Receive and store deliveries, ensuring stock is rotated and stored safely, 5. Dispose of waste appropriately and in accordance with Club policies, 6. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including equipment, surfaces, and floors, in line with food hygiene standards, 7. Comply with health & safety, food safety, and hygiene regulations at all times., 9. To comply with all Club policies, procedures and practices and carry out your role diligently and in the best interests of the Club, 10. To lead with a proactive, high-performance mindset and actively contribute to a winning culture on and off the pitch, 11. To behave in a manner consistent with Club values and policies, 12. Plan and oversee daily front-of-house floor operations to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction. Supervise and coordinate floor staff, assigning duties and ensuring efficient workflow. Liaise with customers to discuss requirements for special occasions and ensure these are met. Work with the kitchen team to ensure the quality of meals and service meets required standards. Ensure dining areas are clean, well-presented, and maintained in compliance with hygiene and safety regulations. Monitor the use of front-of-house supplies to prevent wastage and maintain cost control.
Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team to cover various evening shifts.. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards. Shift 1: Monday to Friday 6pm - 9pm £13.00 per hour (Monday to Friday) Shift 2: Monday to Friday 12pm - 2pm £13.00 per hour (Monday to Friday) Including a Saturday Shift 9:30-1:30pm £13.00 per hour (Saturday Only) Driving essential due to location of site. Duties: • Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors., • Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas., • Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored correctly., • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel., • Maintain a high level of customer service while interacting with clients or staff members., • Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure consistency in service delivery. Qualifications • Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with team members and clients., • Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided., • A valid driver's licence is advantageous for roles requiring travel between sites., • Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients., • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment., • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
