Facade Project Manager – Flagship Project (Oxford) – £300M+ Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Facade Project Manager to take ownership of £80million Facade Package, on the delivery of a landmark £300M+ flagship development in Oxford. Working with a Tier 1 main contractor, you will take ownership of the façade package from design coordination through procurement, installation, and final handover. This is a high-profile, technically complex project requiring exceptional leadership, commercial awareness, and façade expertise. Key Responsibilities • Lead the façade package across all project stages, ensuring delivery aligns with programme, budget, and quality expectations, • Manage design development, coordinating with architects, consultants, and specialist façade subcontractors, • Oversee procurement strategy, tendering processes, and subcontractor selection, • Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations, performance standards, and sustainability targets, • Drive programme delivery, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies, • Monitor installation on-site, ensuring quality control, health & safety, and adherence to specifications, • Manage commercial aspects including cost reporting, variations, and subcontractor accounts, • Chair façade coordination meetings and provide clear reporting to senior stakeholders, • Resolve technical challenges relating to curtain walling, cladding systems, glazing, and interfaces, • Ensure successful testing, commissioning, and handover of façade systems Requirements • Proven experience as a Facade Project Manager on large-scale (£100M+) construction projects, • Strong background working with Tier 1 contractors or leading façade subcontractors, • In-depth knowledge of façade systems (unitised curtain walling, rainscreen cladding, glazing, etc.), • Excellent understanding of design management and construction sequencing, • Strong commercial and contractual awareness (e.g., NEC or JCT contracts), • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment, • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in construction, engineering, or a related field
