While we have particular expertise in defending chiropractors, our client base continues to expand across the wider healthcare sector. \n \nWe are a boutique firm with ambitious growth plans. This is a rare opportunity to join us at an early stage and play a meaningful role in shaping the future of the practice. \n\n The Opportunity \nWe are looking for a solicitor or barrister (3+ PQE) to join our growing team and support our expanding caseload in healthcare regulatory defence. \n \nThis role offers high-quality, meaningful work within a flexible and supportive environment. You will have the opportunity to take on real responsibility, contribute to case strategy, and develop your advocacy and advisory skills. \n \nWe are particularly interested in lawyers who value flexibility and autonomy, and who are committed to delivering outstanding client care. \n\n The Role \nYou will: \n\n\n\t • Assist with a caseload of healthcare regulatory matters, including fitness to practise proceedings\n\t, • Prepare cases for hearing, including drafting witness statements, bundles and legal submissions\n\t, • Undertake advocacy in interim order applications, review hearings and preliminary matters\n\t, • Progress (depending on experience) to advocacy in substantive hearings\n\t, • Liaise closely with clients and regulators throughout investigations\n\t, • Provide clear, practical and high-quality regulatory advice\n\t, • Be a qualified solicitor or barrister with 3+ years’ PQE\n\t, • Ideally have experience in regulatory or healthcare work (although this is not essential)\n\t, • Have strong analytical, drafting and organisational skills\n\t, • Be confident working both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment\n\t, • Demonstrate a genuine commitment to excellent client care and professional standards\n\t, • Flexible, part-time working (3 days per week)\n\t, • Fully remote working with autonomy over your schedule\n\t, • The opportunity to join a growing boutique firm at an exciting stage of its development\n\t, • Competitive salary (£36,000 - £42,000 for 3 days per week; £60,000 - £70,000 FTE)\n\t, • 20 days’ holiday (pro rata)\n\t, • Pension and healthcare benefits\n\t, • A supportive, collaborative and high-performing team\n\n\n \nThis role is well suited to lawyers seeking a more flexible way of working, whether returning to practice or looking to achieve a better long-term work-life balance, without compromising on the quality or complexity of their work. \n\n Application Process \nApplication closes 5pm on 15th May 2026.
