BURGER CHEF – PINKY We’re looking for an experienced Burger Chef to join the opening team at Pinky, our new burger bar. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong experience cooking burgers in both restaurant and high-volume takeaway environments. You’ll understand that a great burger operation is all about consistency, speed and attention to detail — every burger leaving the kitchen should be exactly as it was designed. You’ll be expected to follow recipes, cooking methods, portioning and service protocols precisely, while keeping your section exceptionally clean, organised and ready for a busy service. What we’re looking for • Extensive burger/grill experience, • Experience in both restaurant and takeaway/delivery environments, • Excellent attention to detail and consistency, • Ability to follow exact recipes, specifications and service protocols, • Fast, clean and highly organised during busy services, • Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen standards, • A genuine team player with a positive attitude, • Confident and comfortable working in front of guests, • Good conversational and communication skills, • Someone who naturally enjoys hospitality and making people feel welcome We’re building Pinky around great burgers, great drinks, music and personality. We want chefs who understand that even in a fast, casual environment, the details matter and hospitality should never feel transactional. If you’re proud of what you cook, enjoy a fast-paced service and like being part of the atmosphere rather than hidden away from it, we’d like to hear from you.

This isn’t a traditional restaurant management role. Pinky has a deliberately simple food operation, QR-code ordering, a dedicated bar person and support from our Operations Manager. What we need is someone who can take ownership of the venue and make sure every shift runs brilliantly. You’ll be responsible for opening and setting up the venue, keeping it clean, organised and looking great, welcoming guests, overseeing the floor and QR ordering system, coordinating with the kitchen and bar, managing the private karaoke room and making sure the atmosphere stays fun, friendly and well controlled.
