Rumbling / Vibratory Machine Operator\n\nSalary: £35,500 basic + 22.6% shift uplift (£43,523 total package)\nLocation: Near Uxbridge (commutable from Denham, Slough, High Wycombe, Watford, Hayes, Harrow, Rickmansworth)\nHours: Double Day Shift\n\n Week 1: 06:00 – 14:00\n\n Week 2: 14:00 – 22:00\n\nImportant – Please read before applying\n\nDue to the nature of the work, this role requires:\n\n A consistent 5-year work history (with explanations for any gaps)\n\n Ability to pass BPSS clearance\n\nPlease note: employment cannot begin until clearance is completed, which can take up to 4 weeks.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe’re supporting a leading aerospace manufacturer near Uxbridge who are looking to bring in a Rumbling / Vibratory Machine Operator to join their surface finishing team.\n\nYou’ll be working within a high-spec finishing plant, playing a key role in preparing and finishing safety-critical components used in aerospace systems.\n\nThis is a hands-on role where quality is everything — the work you do directly contributes to equipment designed to save lives.\n\nWhat’s in it for you?\n\n £35,500 basic salary\n\n 22.6% shift uplift (£43,523 total package)\n\n Daily overtime paid at 1.5x rate\n\n 25 days holiday + bank holidays (with option to buy more)\n\n 9% non-contributory pension\n\n 4x salary life assurance\n\n Healthcare Cash Plan\n\n Cycle to work scheme & retail discounts\n\n Ongoing training and development\n\nWhat you’ll be doing\n\n Operating barrel tumbling and vibratory finishing equipment\n\n Preparing metallic surfaces for further processing\n\n Masking components to protect critical features (bores, holes, slots)\n\n Carrying out inspection of finished components\n\n Packing parts for internal transport and storage\n\n Interpreting part numbers, drawings, process specs and finishing requirements\n\n Working to strict quality and safety standards\n\nWhat we’re looking for\n\n Basic understanding of measuring equipment\n\n Experience within a precision finishing environment is required, ideally experience with rumbling / tumbling equipment.\n\n Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings\n\n Awareness of health & safety and COSHH regulations\n\n Previous experience within manufacturing or engineering environments\n\n Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset\n\nInterested?
