As a Clinical Research Nurse, you’ll combine your clinical expertise with meaningful research impact — all within a supportive, collaborative environment. What You’ll Be Doing • Lead the nursing side of clinical trials from start‑up to close‑out, ensuring everything runs smoothly and adheres to ICH/GCP standards., • Be the expert at Site Initiation Visits (SIVs), staying up to date with evolving study protocols., • Engage potential participants through PIV visits, clearly explaining the study and helping them make informed decisions., • Build lasting relationships with patients, keeping them motivated and supported throughout their journey to maximise retention., • Own the accuracy of study data, meticulously documenting information in source notes, CRF/eCRF systems and all associated records., • Create a warm, professional clinic atmosphere where participants feel welcome and staff feel supported., • Stay on top of data queries, resolving them quickly and confidently., • Be prepared for emergencies, responding swiftly and effectively when situations arise., • Take responsibility for emergency equipment, including regular checks of the emergency trolley., • Carry out lab tasks when required — bringing your clinical skills into the research setting., • Champion data privacy, always working in line with GDPR and regulatory requirements., • Stay current with training, SOPs/COPs and industry standards, continuously building your expertise. Who You Are • A registered NMC Nurse with an unrestricted licence to practise., • Someone with at least 2 years’ post‑registration experience — confident in patient care and clinical decision‑making., • Experienced in clinical research (or eager to build this experience — desirable, not essential!)., • A strong team player who thrives in a multidisciplinary environment., • Self‑driven, organised, and ready to take ownership of your workload., • Passionate about delivering high‑quality care while contributing to something bigger.
