Your responsibilities will include: \n\n • Supporting the Registered Manager in maintaining high standards of care.\n, • Ensuring effective communication within the team and adherence to policies.\n, • Overseeing care quality, staff training, and development.\n, • Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and regulatory standards.\n, • Monitoring the condition and safety of the home and its furnishings.\n, • Assisting with budgeting and accurate record-keeping.\n, • Promoting equality, diversity, and child protection.\n, • Leading on quality assurance and continuous service improvement.\n, • Providing effective team leadership and supervision.\n, • Maintaining confidentiality at all times.\n, • Supporting new staff through their induction process.\n\n\nAbout You:\n We are looking for someone who is: \n\n • Understanding of the challenges faced by young people in care.\n, • Holds a Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification (or equivalent).\n, • Possesses excellent communication and listening skills.\n, • Willing to learn and collaborate within a small team.\n, • Able to complete an enhanced DBS check (covered by us).\n, • Experienced in EBD, social care, residential work, or youth work (advantageous).\n, • Holds a full, clean UK driving licence and is willing to support other homes as needed.\n\n\n North Lakes is an equal opportunities employer and encourages applications from all qualified candidates.
