Morson Edge is delighted to be working with a fast-growing Resource Management Business in Wigan. This is a hands-on, full-time position, fully office based, and offering a salary of up to £40,000 for the right candidate. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, variety, and working in a fast-paced, changeable environment where no two days are the same. Key Responsibilities HR & Payroll Administration Maintain accurate personnel records and ensure full HR compliance Prepare offer letters and contracts Manage sickness records, sick notes, SMP, NMW checks, right-to-work checks, and job-specific compliance checks Time & Attendance Manage the time and attendance system Ensure clock-ins/outs are complete and accurate Record holidays, sickness, and other absences Employee & Manager Support Provide general HR advice and guidance to managers and employees Support and assist with escalated HR matters, including disciplinaries Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities Prepare and post vacancy adverts Manage inductions and probationary monitoring Payroll & Pensions Collate, check, and submit payroll information to external payroll providers Review payroll reports prior to final processing Upload pension contributions and manage all related administration, including starters, leavers, and opt-outs Systems & Processes Maintain and cleanse HR systems to ensure data accuracy Work with management to update and improve processes and workflows About You You will be: Extremely organised, proactive, and adaptable Comfortable working independently in a stand-alone HR role Confident in a hands-on position within a fast-paced business Essential skills and experience: Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel capability Proven experience in HR and payroll administration with working knowledge of employee relations Practical, solution-focused mindset with the ability to think “outside the box” Desirable: Experience working within an owner-managed or family-run business Experience within waste management or a similar operational industry TPBN1_UKTJ
