Product Manager – Tour Operator, near Bromley £45,000 per annum + generous annual bonus + excellent benefits Hybrid, 3 days in 2 days from home Calling all Travel specialist Product, Contracting or Commercial Managers! An exciting Product Manager opportunity has now become available to join a Multi-Award-Winning Tour Operator located near Bromley. This sought after Product Manager role will see you join a long-established company and report directly to the Head of Product. The position will be responsible for managing and developing our client’s Escorted Tours, Cruise and FIT/Beach programme, along with introducing new products & building on existing product ranges to meet changing consumer demands. The successful applicant will possess product, contracting or commercial experience gained within a Tour Operator. Responsibilities: • Responsible for the on-going negation, development and expansion of our client’s Beach/FIT, Escorted Tours, Cruise portfolio focusing on revenue and profit generation through strategic product management in line with company expectations, • Direct responsibility for contract accuracy and completion, • Maintain and react to competitor analysis, • Maintaining excellent supplier relationships and promoting the client’s brand positively, • Analyse market trends (both own product and industry) to propose and then develop new products, • To monitor holiday sales with the Head of Product to highlight areas / products to improve sales, • To undertake overseas visit from time to time to contract hotels and to inspect destinations and services, • Ensure timely delivery of brochures in conjunction with the Head of Product and the marketing department Costing & Pricing: • All costs/dates for assigned areas loaded, • Ensure all process for contracts to be loaded correctly Marketing and Brochure: • Ensure timely delivery of all brochures in conjunction with the Head of Product and the marketing department Team Management: • In conjunction with the Head of Product and the team, look to streamline processes and introduce good working practices, • To ensure the team is working as efficiently and productively as possible and to ensure accuracy of all material being sent out from the dept.
