Project Engineer Department: MaintenanceLocation: WhitstableContract: Full-time - 1 Year FTC Are you a proactive Project Engineer looking to drive impactful change within a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We’re looking for an organised, technically strong, and solutions-focused professional to join our client's Maintenance Department and lead a wide range of asset, infrastructure, and systems projects that support the long-term growth and efficiency of our business. About the Role As their Project Engineer, you will take ownership of end-to-end project delivery—from initial scoping through to planning, execution, and handover. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role plays a key part in supporting improvements across production assets, facilities, software/hardware systems, and wider site infrastructure. You will act as a central link between stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring strong governance and best practice across all projects. The ideal candidate would come from a maintenance engineering hands on background. Key Responsibilities Project Delivery & Planning • Manage projects through the full lifecycle, ensuring effective scoping, planning, scheduling, execution, and commissioning., • Lead acquisition, installation, and commissioning of new manufacturing assets with minimal operational disruption., • Ensure robust adherence to safety standards, including Permit to Work (PTW), RAMS, Method Statements, and manufacturing safety requirements.
