HGV Technician Location: Beddington Pay: £28.28 per hour Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (Nights) Were recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy, well-equipped bus engineering environment in Croydon.Do not pass up this chance, apply quickly if your experience and skills match what is in the following description.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who takes pride in high standards and enjoys working with modern, complex PSV fleets.The Role of the HGV Technician As an HGV Technician, youll play a key part in keeping the fleet safe, reliable, and compliant.You will carry out inspections, diagnose faults, and complete mechanical and electrical repairs across all major vehicle systemsincluding engines, brakes, transmissions, and electrics.Key Responsibilities of the HGV Technician Routine servicing, maintenance, and repair of the PSV fleet to DVSA standards Diagnose and repair faults across engines, brakes, electrical systems, air-con, and driveline components Ensure all work aligns with manufacturer guidelines and internal maintenance procedures Use diagnostic equipment to accurately assess vehicle performance and identify required repairs Maintain a safe, organised working environment and follow all workshop safety protocols What Youll Need as HGV Technician NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, Time-Served, or equivalent qualification in xjlbheb HGV/PSV Maintenance Full UK Driving Licence Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Confident in safe use of workshop equipment and competent in electrical system repairs Ability to work independently and within a team IRTEC accreditation an advantage If youre a proactive and skilled HGV Technician looking for a stable night-shift role with excellent rates, apply today!
