Our menus celebrate the best seasonal produce, combining elevated pub classics with fresh, contemporary dishes in a warm and welcoming setting. Were now looking for a talented Head Chef to lead the kitchen, drive standards, and shape a food offer that keeps guests coming back. The Role As Head Chef, youll take full ownership of the kitchen operation, leading from the front in service, standards, team development, and menu execution. This is a hands-on role for a chef who is passionate about modern British food, seasonality, and creating a consistently excellent guest experience. Key Responsibilities Lead, inspire and develop the kitchen team on a day-to-day basis Deliver consistently high-quality food across lunch, dinner, and Sunday service Create and evolve seasonal menus in line with the gastro pub concept Manage GP, stock control, ordering, and kitchen labour costs Maintain excellent food hygiene, health & safety, and due diligence standards Work closely with the General Manager to drive the overall success of the business Ensure smooth service during busy periods, private events, and seasonal peaks Build a positive kitchen culture focused on quality, teamwork, and accountability What Were Looking For Previous experience as a Head Chef or a strong Sous Chef ready to step up Background in fresh-food gastro pubs, modern British restaurants, or quality pub dining Strong understanding of seasonal British produce and current food trends Confident leading a busy kitchen and managing a team effectively Good commercial awareness, including food margins, stock, and labour control Calm under pressure, organised, and hands-on in service Passion for delivering high standards and developing a strong kitchen brigade What We Offer Competitive salary Opportunity to put your stamp on a quality food-led business Supportive ownership / senior management team Career development within a growing hospitality group Staff meals on duty Company discounts TPBN1_UKCT
