Key Responsibilities of the CNC Grinder: • Reading blueprints, process sheets, and sketches to determine machining requirements, • Setting up and operating multi-axis CNC grinding and milling equipment, • Selecting tooling, calculating feeds & speeds, and machining a variety of metals including steel, copper, brass, aluminium, and bronze, • Downloading, editing, or writing CNC programs as needed, • Performing quality inspections using precision instruments and gauging devices, • Applying lean manufacturing principles to reduce setup times and improve throughput, • Cleaning, finishing, and preparing components for shipment, including oiling, wrapping, and boxing, • Permanent contract with industry-leading pay, • Rotating shifts or night shifts to suit your lifestyle, • Generous benefits including productivity bonuses, up to 13% employer pension, life insurance & 25 days holiday, • Attractive overtime rates for extra earning potential, • Time-served apprenticeship or SVQ/NVQ Level 3 / HNC in Mechanical Engineering, • 5+ years experience on CNC machine tools in a lean manufacturing environment, • Established experience with Rotary Table Grinder, CNC Table Grinder, or 5-Axis CNC Grinders, • OR strong multi-axis milling experience (Correa, Doosan, or similar), • Skilled with control systems such as Fanuc, Mazak, Heidenhain, or Haas, • Proven ability to hold ultra-tight tolerances (
