Communication • Build effective working relationships across the business and with external suppliers., • Support regular buying meetings, helping to communicate priorities, actions and key updates., • Respond promptly to product queries from internal departments, providing accurate information where required., • Work closely with the Merchandising team to ensure delivery dates are achieved and orders are managed effectively., • Liaise with franchise and third-party retail partners, ensuring communication is maintained and key information is shared with the wider buying team. Teamwork • Support the Buyer in creating a positive, collaborative and high-performing team environment., • Help manage the workload of the Buying Assistant, ensuring priorities are clear and deadlines are met., • Deputise for the Buyer when required, confidently managing day-to-day responsibilities., • Assist with the onboarding and training of new team members., • Take an active role in your own learning and development, continuously building your buying knowledge and commercial awareness.
