Introduction: PathQA design and manufacture quality assurance tools for the measurement, standardisation, regulation and calibration of imaging devices within the digital pathology sector. PathQA products have applications in cancer diagnostics, clinical quality assurance, pharma research, medical device regulation and AI development. Position Overview: PathQA are seeking a dedicated production operator to join our manufacturing team as we expand operations. This position will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes, working towards the timely delivery of high-quality products. Responsibilities will include assembling components, undertaking final testing of products and performing quality control checks to ensure that production goals are met efficiently. Additionally, there is potential for R&D collaboration, contribution to productisation and improvements to production processes of emerging technology. The ideal candidate should possess a keen eye for detail and an aptitude for working with delicate materials. Additionally, experience working in a manual manufacturing environment is vital, along with familiarity with ISO 9001 QMS and the ability to adhere to strict cleanroom protocols Key Responsibilities: Component assembly following detailed build instructions End of line testing following detailed work instructions Contribution and adherence to production schedules to support company targets Production and maintenance of accurate production data records for reporting purposes Compliance with manufacturing and cleanroom procedures (including PPE requirements) Maintenance of cleanroom work environment, work area and tools in line with schedules Inspection and maintenance of production rigs in line with TPM schedule Communication with line manager in the event of defects or issues, to minimise downtime Manage on-hand stock levels and work with operations team to maintain necessary levels Work in a safe manner, adhering to company health and safety procedures Contribute to continued ISO 9001 compliance Qualifications and Requirements: Genuine experience of working in a technical manufacturing role Experience of cleanroom environments Familiarity with Quality Management processes Experience of working within an ISO 9001 accredited business preferred Ability to follow detailed work instructions carefully Ability to concentrate & focus on task at hand, occasionally for extended periods Computer literacy Excellent manual dexterity, keen eye for detail & a steady hand Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with a team Right to work in the UK TPBN1_UKTJ
