As our Site Agent you'll be responsible for theday-to-day safe, efficient delivery of site activities in line with the approved programme and construction methodology. You'll lead and coordinate multiple work fronts including civils, tunnelling interfaces, trunk main installation, pumping station build, and MEICA activities. You'll lead and guide Sub-Agents, Section Engineers, Supervisors, and subcontractors to maintain strong productivity, quality, and safe delivery across all site activities. This includes carrying out inspections and audits while enforcing a zero-harm culture and ensuring full compliance with CDM regulations, permits, RAMS, and safe systems of work. Youll also oversee high-risk operations such as deep excavations, shafts, confined spaces, lifting activities, temporary works, and tunnelling interfaces, while ensuring robust environmental controls for groundwater, pollution, waste, noise, and dust. Youll manage short-term and weekly programmes, coordinate labour, plant, materials, and logistics, and ensure works are correctly sequenced to protect key milestones. The role also involves monitoring subcontractor performance, delivering site briefings and coordination meetings, and supporting the development of engineers and supervisors through mentoring and coaching. You'll promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement through lessons learned and best-practice sharing.
