    Job Description Production & Warehouse Assistant Fixed Contract - 6 months September 2026 The business requires an extremely capable, conscientious and multitasking individual to join our team on a fixed contract for 6 months. Based at our design studio in Kennington, this role will report to our Head of buying, supporting our in house production, studio and shop house keeping, and will be required to visit our warehouse fortnightly. This is a very hands-on role, where you will assist in matters related to product preparation, product assembly and boxing PINCH products and shop presentation maintenance. You will need an ability to work actively and collaboratively in a business that moves quickly, and has high expectations of our designs, our products, our service, and our own ability to enjoy the process as we go along. Indicative areas of activity : ● Receive, quality check and record all goods arriving at the studio, including finished products and components. ● Ensure the studio, workshop and storage areas are well organised and maintained. ● Prepare goods for fulfilment and dispatch from the studio, including packing, crating and photographing where required. ● Support with PINCH in-house production and assembly. ● Quality check goods returning to the business and re-box where required. ● Visit our warehouse and suppliers to assist with quality checking and boxing products. ● Attend to shop maintenance, repairs and snags, regular paint and finish repair. ● Print assembly instructions and prepare ancillary items for orders. ● Support the team with shop changeovers, photoshoots and events. ● Provide cover for Office Manager tasks during absence. ● Potential visits to client’s homes to trouble shoot quality issues ● Additional tasks and deliverables as they arise, suited to the business needs, role and responsibility level. Hours will be expected to be kept flexible at key but rare moments in the calendar.

Based at our Islington roastery (N7 9DP) with alternating shifts 6am to 3pm and 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Potential weekend shifts may be required. Today, we're a B Corp certified roaster, supplying coffee fresh from the Loring Peregrine S70 at our North London roastery to a range of growing customers, including our restaurants and Brew Bars. The production team are our last step in supplying great tasting, well presented coffee on-time to our online, out-of-home and retail customers. They are responsible for bagging our range of roasted coffees in line with the daily production plan and our quality standards on the newly automated vertical form fill seal machine. Plus, fulfilling and packing all orders accurately and in advance of courier collections. All whilst maintaining excellent food safety standards, accurate inventory levels and stock takes. They are the problem solvers ensuring that we can deliver exceptional and consistent customer service to tight deadlines every day. Responsibilities • Bagging and packaging coffee: executing daily production plan with high attention to detail, troubleshooting any challenges with machinery, ensuring accurate packaging, batch codes and dates are applied., • Packing and fulfilling orders: picking D2C and B2B orders accurately and efficiently to support on-time despatch with delivery providers., • Stock control: maintaining accurate daily stock levels and carrying out monthly stock takes to aide cost of sales reporting and availability planning., • Machinery maintenance & cleaning: executing daily and weekly maintenance schedule in line with SOPs, troubleshooting any challenges with machinery., • Goods-in put away: organising items received into roastery into storage location and accounting for this on Unleashed inventory platform with supervisor., • Roastery floor orderliness & cleanliness: ensuring that all production items have a place and are organised well for the workflow, keeping high standards of cleanliness and tidiness on the production floor., • Health & Safety, SALSA compliance: maintaining a safe and compliant environment by wearing provided PPE & uniforms, keeping foreign objects, food, uncovered drinks and glass off production floor.
