This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to maintain quality and safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate press brake machines to bend metal components to required specifications Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders Select correct tooling, dies, and machine settings for each job Measure and inspect finished products using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate bends and maintain quality standards Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines Ensure all products meet company quality and tolerance standards Maintain accurate production records and documentation Follow all workplace safety procedures and guidelines Work collaboratively with other team members and supervisors to meet production targets Required Skills and Qualifications Previous experience operating press brake machinery (preferred) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Good mathematical skills and understanding of measurements Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to use measuring tools such as verniers and gauges Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Understanding of workplace safety procedures
