Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a leading heavy manufacturing business who are looking to recruit an High VoltageEngineer to join their engineering team due to expansion in the business. High Voltage Engineer – Heavy Manufacturing\n Days Only (Flexible Working Hours) | 37.5 Hours per Week | £50,000 Benefits:\n\n • 33 days annual leave\n, • Pension matched up to 8%\n, • Death in Service\n, • Free onsite parking\n, • Free fruit, tea & coffee\n, • Multi-faith room\n, • On-site physiotherapy & occupational health support\nResponsibilities:\n\n, • Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across site electrical infrastructure and production equipment\n, • Control and maintain HV & LV electrical networks, ensuring statutory inspections are completed\n, • Diagnose and repair electrical faults on PLC/CNC/SCADA controlled machinery\n, • Develop and implement PPM strategies to maximise plant reliability and minimise downtime\n, • Support continuous improvement projects, driving energy efficiency and equipment reliability\n, • Identify obsolete electrical equipment and develop upgrade/replacement plans\n, • Order and manage electrical spares through the company's maintenance management system\n, • Work alongside OEM service engineers when required\n, • Participate in daily and weekly maintenance planning meetings\n, • Carry out safety and quality risk assessments, ensuring compliance with site standards and legislation\n, • Support lean manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste\nWhat We're Looking For:\n\n, • HNC, HND or recognised Electrical Engineering apprenticeship (time served) - Level 3 may be considered\n, • Experience working within a heavy manufacturing or industrial environment\n, • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills on electrical control systems\n, • Experience working with HV & LV electrical systems and switching activities\n, • Knowledge of PLC/CNC control systems\n, • Understanding of modern maintenance and reliability techniques including PPM\n, • Root cause analysis and problem-solving experience\n, • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical engineering drawings\n, • IOSH qualification or similar would be advantageous\n, • Contractor management or project management experience would be beneficial\n\n This role is commutable from:Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster, Wakefield, Worksop, Leeds, Huddersfield, Chesterfield. \n Suited candidates may previously have held roles such as: Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Electrician, Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Shift Electrician, Controls Engineer, Automation Engineer, Electrical Technician, Plant Maintenance Engineer, Industrial Electrician, High Voltage Engineer, Senior Authorised Person, Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer
