The traineeship is completed in 4 easy steps, Step 1 - IOSH - Managing Safely Here you will learn about the basics of health and safety. Step 2 - NEBOSH Now you will decide whether you would like to study the NEBOSH General, Construction or the Fire Safety course, depending on the path that you intend your career to follow. You will have an expert tutor on hand if required. Step 3 - Risk Assessments You will write a series of risk assessments that need to be up to a workplace standard. This is a requirement to gain your NEBOSH certification. Step 4 - NEBOSH Exams The exams can be sat in one of the official NEBOSH testing centres, or online. (Online only currently available for general certificate). Your Job Upon Completion Once you have completed all of the mandatory training and exams, we will place you into an entry level health & safety role as either a advisor, officer or coordinator, where you will be guaranteed a starting salary of £25K-£45K. We have partnered with a number of large organisations strategically located throughout the UK, providing a nationwide reach of jobs for our candidates.     Position: HGV Class 2 Driver / Scaffolder Industry: Construction / Scaffolding Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview An experienced HGV Class 2 Driver and Scaffolder responsible for the safe transportation, delivery, and collection of scaffolding materials to and from construction sites. The role also involves assisting with the erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures while maintaining strict safety standards. Key Responsibilities • Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle to transport scaffolding equipment to various sites., • Load, unload, and secure scaffolding materials in compliance with transport regulations., • Assist the scaffolding team with the erection, alteration, and dismantling of scaffolding structures., • Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects., • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and site procedures., • Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and site documentation., • Work closely with site supervisors and team members to ensure efficient project completion., • Follow all road transport laws and company policies while driving. Skills & Experience • Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence., • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card., • Previous experience working in scaffolding or construction environments., • Knowledge of scaffolding components and safe handling procedures., • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites., • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team., • Good time management and reliability. Desirable Qualifications • CISRS Scaffolding Card or relevant scaffolding qualification., • Experience driving vehicles carrying heavy construction materials., • Site safety certifications (e.g., CSCS card).
