Management Accountant – Sheffield – c£40k plus benefits Ash Consulting are working with a well established small family business that provide a range of quality business support services to clients throughout the UK. We are currently seeking an experienced all rounder for a stand alone Management Accountant role that will work within the companies operational management team. This is an excellent opportunity for a developing Management Accountant to work directly with a hands on Managing Director in a role that will offer lots of variety and opportunity within a collaborative and supportive environment. The Role: As the Management Accountant, you'll provide the production of accurate and timely financial information to drive commercial decision-making. This role will involve a range of operational and transactional finance provision and will appeal to an accounting professional who has grown their experience in hands on roles ideally within small business environments where they have gained grass roots to management accounting provision. Key Responsibilities: • Preparation of monthly management accounts (journals, accruals, prepayments) • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis • Balance sheet reconciliations and VAT returns • Assist with year-end audit processes • Cashflow forecasting • Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business • Control of sales and purchase ledger along with credit control • Providing payroll data support Candidate Requirements: • Experience in a Management Accountant role • Part Qualified, QBE or Qualified • Proficient in Microsoft Excel • Ideally Xero or SAP experienced • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Confident communicator and proactive team player • Communication and interpreting financial data to none financial managers What’s on offer?
