We are looking for part-time catering driver, to join our Food Catering team. Based out of our London Nine Elms/Stockwell kitchen, you will spend most of your time on the road, driving our van and delivering to our Corporate and private customers in London and further afield, as well as collecting catering equipment hired out. Working hours can range from 6am to 9pm Mon – Sun, depending on our booked orders. Hours can range from 2 - 4hrs per day, depending on orders, but not everyday. We have acquired several catering contracts which will cover central London and the surrounding areas. Unfortunately, we are not looking for moped driver and must have van driving experience. You will have: Able to drive a Manuel van A full, clean UK Driving License (Must have held a license for more than 5yrs. No endorsements or convictions) A good knowledge of London roads, surrounding areas, and the Highway Code. Able to get to destinations quickly, but safely. Experience in regular dual carriageway and motorway driving Computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Proof of your right to work in the UK You must have: An excellent verbal communicator, fluent in English Professional and polite with a strong focus on customer service Experienced in delivering delicate food catering i.e. canapes and food platters etc. Honest, trustworthy, reliable, conscientious and punctual Precise and accurate with high levels of attention to detail in all your activities Flexible and mindful of the business/team objectives and goals whilst completing your duties Adaptable - able to work independently out, on the road and think on your feet when needed! This role will be physically demanding with heavy lifting required of catering thermal bags and catering equipment. Requirements: • Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced takeaway, restaurant, or food delivery environment. • Confident in managing a small team with strong leadership and communication skills. • Organised, reliable, and able to stay calm under pressure. • Comfortable using delivery apps, POS systems, and managing multiple orders at once. • Passion for Caribbean cuisine and culture is a big plus. • Strong customer service skills and a proactive attitude. • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and peak trading times. Overview: We are seeking a skilled Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our team. Jones is a family run catering butchers (est. 1962), with a close-knit team of butchers, production operators, warehouse assistants and delivery drivers, supplying meats from around the world to London and the Home Counties. Reports into our Transport Manager and Managing Director. Relevant driving experience is preferred. Must hold a full UK driving licence.
