The Opportunity We are seeking a skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our Head Office team in Heanor. Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial & Technical Director, you will work closely with Project and Installation Managers to manage costs, contracts, and risk while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team, contributing to major projects and supporting Rehlko’s continued expansion. Key Responsibilities • Lead project oversight from inception to completion, ensuring robust cost control., • Collaborate with clients to assess feasibility and refine project proposals., • Prepare accurate assessments of material quantities, costs, and resources pre-tender., • Provide commercial support throughout the project lifecycle, including subcontractor management., • Cultivate strong client and team relationships, ensuring smooth collaboration., • Mentor colleagues, share best practices, and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives., • Manage application processes, cash flow forecasts, and project documentation., • Ensure compliance with Rehlko’s ISO standards (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001)., • Deliver timely and accurate project applications and payment certificates. Key Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying (or related discipline)., • Professional membership (RICS or equivalent) is advantageous., • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction, M&E, or related sectors., • Strong knowledge of ISO standards and construction regulations., • Excellent negotiation, contract management, and financial reporting skills., • Detail-oriented, methodical, and proactive approach., • Confident communicator with strong client-facing ability., • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
