This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to ensure the production of high-quality electronic assemblies.

Working within our Production Facility we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Team Member to join our Logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe storage and movement of materials/finished goods within the warehouse and production facility. Ensure accurate issuing, picking, packing of materials/finished goods to internal departments and external customers. Typical Responsibilities • Ensure all materials received are stored in accordance with Company procedures and Health & Safety Regulations., • Responsible for the recording and maintaining of all relevant computer and administration activities in respect to stock movement., • Liaison with the Purchasing & Production Control teams as required., • Provide assistance within RS stores & Goods Inwards upon request., • Provide holiday/sickness cover within the department., • Ensure any defects found to equipment or plant are escalated to the appropriate personnel for action., • Possess full knowledge of the department’s current quality standards and appropriate quality procedures., • To hold a current Fork Lift Truck Certificate., • Ensure the correct and safe movement and storage of components, sub-assemblies or finished products received into the department., • Contribute to and make recommendations for any improvements to process method/quality., • Helping to maintain good working relations through effective communication within the Department and with others to achieve Company & Departmental objectives., • A high regard for Health & Safety procedures including any relevant department specific health & safety requirements due to Company rules or legislation., • Assisting with any process/system changes deemed necessary within the department., • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping at all times., • Demonstrate flexibility and ability to carry out any additional duties deemed necessary by the department Manager., • Participate in perpetual and annual stock taking activities., • Ability to work well on own initiative and as part of a team., • Where appropriate, assist with & provide on the job training., • Partake in staff development programmes., • Promote a professional image at all times. Qualifications • Minimum of GCSEs, Maths and English, or further education qualifications., • FLT or similar licences. Experience • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in warehousing, ideally within manufacturing., • Proficiency with PC literacy software. Experience with ERP systems. Skills / Abilities • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with colleagues and customers professionally., • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail., • Problem-Solving: Ability to handle unexpected situations and solve problems quickly and effectively., • Familiarity with Health and Safety protocols in an electronics or technical environment. Working within our Production Facility the SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Team Member is to be responsible for operating machines within the department used for the assembly of printed circuit boards (PCBs), using surface mount technology, solder paste screen printing and optical inspection machines. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to ensure the production of high-quality electronic assemblies. Typical Responsibilities • Set up, operate, and monitor process machines (pick and place, screen printer, AOI etc.) for PCB assembly., • Load and unload PCBs and components onto machines according to production requirements., • Ensure accurate placement of components., • Inspect assembled PCBs for quality, ensuring proper component placement and soldering., • Perform visual inspections to verify that assemblies meet the required specifications., • Document inspection results and report any quality issues to the supervisor., • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to schedules and production targets., • Identify potential issues in the production line and communicate with the team to resolve problems quickly., • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment., • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area., • Ensure that all work complies with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations. Qualifications • Minimum of GCSEs, Maths and English, or further education qualifications. Experience • Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating machines within a SMT process., • Experienced background in electronics manufacture., • Proficiency with PC literacy software. Skills / Abilities • Skilled in soldering techniques, rework and fault finding., • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with colleagues professionally., • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail., • Problem-Solving: Ability to handle unexpected situations and solve problems quickly and effectively., • Familiarity with Health and Safety protocols in an electronics or technical environment.
