Your new company An established and growing accountancy practice with an impressive portfolio of clients. Your new role You'll be responsible for managing bookkeeping tasks for a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries. Your work will help ensure clients have accurate, timely financial information and feel supported throughout the year - not just at year-end.Key Responsibilities • Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for multiple clients, • Process invoices, receipts, payments, and bank reconciliations, • Prepare VAT returns and ensure timely submissions, • Assist with management accounts and financial reporting, • Liaise with clients to gather information and resolve queries, • Support the wider team with ad-hoc accounting tasks, • Previous bookkeeping experience within an accountancy practice, • Strong knowledge of cloud accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage), • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, • Confident communicating with clients, • A supportive, collaborative team environment, • Flexible working options, • Exposure to a diverse client base Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
