We’re a growing, high-performing team of around 40, comprised of Mortgage and Protection Brokers, Administrators, Qualifiers and Case Managers working collaboratively across the UK. The Role: The Mortgage Qualifier supports customers at the start of their home-buying journey, acting as their first point of contact from initial enquiry through to booking with a mortgage adviser. The role focuses on delivering an excellent customer experience while ensuring advisers receive well-prepared clients. You’ll answer initial questions, explain next steps, complete affordability checks, review lender criteria, and assess eligibility. Customers will leave with a clear understanding of how much they can borrow, whether they’re ready to buy, or what they need to do next ensuring they’re confident and prepared to move forward when they find their home. Main Responsibilities: • Build and nurture strong customer relationships from first enquiry through to adviser booking. • Qualify mortgage leads by completing affordability checks and reviewing lender criteria. • Conduct customer appointments and respond to live chat enquiries promptly. • Convert leads into mortgage applications and maximise adviser bookings. • Provide conveyancing quotes, follow up, and instruct solicitors where required. • Manage adviser diaries, ensuring customers are prepared and leads are evenly distributed. • Consistently achieve KPIs across lead conversion, appointments, and conveyancing sales. Knowledge, Skills & Experience: • Ability to deal with a high volume of leads and prioritise accordingly. • Previous experience carrying out customer phone calls and delivering an exceptional customer experience. • Excellent administration and communication skills. • Previous experience in the mortgage industry is preferred. • We would love for you to be CeMAP qualified or studying towards your CeMAP.
