About the Role: As our Registered Manager, you’ll be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and child-centered environment. You’ll lead a dedicated team and ensure the highest standards of care, in line with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted standards. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the operational delivery of a newly opened children’s home., • Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted requirements., • Drive a high-quality, child-focused care environment prioritising safety, development, and wellbeing., • Manage, mentor, and develop your team, including rotas, appraisals, supervisions, and training., • Oversee safeguarding, health & safety, education liaison, and care planning., • Maintain budgets, accurate records, and uphold confidentiality and data protection., • NVQ Level 3 minimum; Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Health & Social Care) or working towards., • Eligibility to register with Ofsted as a Registered Manager., • Proven experience managing a children’s residential home., • Strong understanding of relevant legislation and Ofsted standards., • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills., • IT literate and able to perform manual handling tasks.
