Internship Overview We are seeking motivated, detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Operations & Compliance Interns for a 3-month on-site Volunteer Internship Program. This role offers hands-on exposure to regulatory compliance frameworks and operational processes within a fast-paced financial services environment. Interns will gain practical experience in compliance monitoring, document handling, internal controls, and cross-functional coordination across multiple financial product lines. Key Responsibilities • Support the team in ensuring adherence to FCA regulations and internal compliance policies, • Assist with document verification, file maintenance, and audit trail management, • Help prepare and review compliance checklists, reports, and risk assessments, • Coordinate operational workflows across departments (pensions, investments, mortgages, insurance), • Conduct research on regulatory updates and assess their operational impact, • Assist with client onboarding processes and related administrative tasks, • Participate in internal meetings and contribute to compliance and operational projects, • Liaise with different teams to understand end-to-end financial services processes What You Will Learn • Practical understanding of the UK regulatory framework (FCA, AML, GDPR), • Exposure to compliance operations across multiple financial product areas, • Hands-on experience in documentation, monitoring, and risk management, • Insight into how a regulated financial services firm operates, • Development of professional communication and organisational skills Candidate Profile • Currently studying or recently graduated in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field, • Strong interest in financial services, compliance, and operations, • Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability, • Strong written and verbal communication skills, • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Internship Benefits • Hands-on experience within an FCA-regulated environment, • Mentorship from experienced compliance and operations professionals, • Certificate of Internship and Letter of Recommendation upon successful completion, • Opportunity for future roles within the organisation based on performance
