Customer Support / Scientific Account Coordinator – Pathology Services\n Location: London (Fully On-Site)\n Full-Time | 40 hours per week (Mon–Fri + occasional Saturdays)\n\n£30,000\n\nWe’re working with a leading pathology company looking to bring in a confident and organised individual to support their client services team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a lab background who enjoys combining technical knowledge with customer-facing work.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou’ll act as a key point of contact for clients, handling queries and supporting day-to-day service delivery. This includes responding to emails and calls, coordinating requests, and working closely with internal teams to make sure everything runs smoothly.\n\nIt’s a fast-paced role where communication and attention to detail are key.\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\n\nManaging client queries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner\nSupporting with test requests, results queries, and general service-related issues\nLiaising with internal departments to resolve queries and ensure smooth operations\nMonitoring and following up on outstanding requests\nDelivering a high level of customer service at all times\nEssential Requirements\n\nPrevious experience working in a laboratory environment as a Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA) (minimum requirement)\nStrong customer service background\nExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal)\nConfident using email and handling phone-based queries\nGood command of the English language\nWilling to work fully on-site\nFlexible to work occasional Saturdays (approx. 1 per month, with time off in lieu, plus additional cover when needed)\n Essential:\n\nBackground in science\nA degree in Biomedical Science or a related field\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\nSomeone approachable, reliable, and organised\nA team player who can also work independently\nComfortable working in a busy, service-driven environment\nAble to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
