Join our Impact Assessment department and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future. \nYour new role\n You will bring your knowledge of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Environmental Management into play as you co‑coordinate statutory EIA, non‑statutory environmental assessment and environmental due diligence processes required to support major development proposals across a range of sectors. You will have the opportunity to drive sustainable change through all stages in the project lifecycle across the data centre, industrial and property sectors. To succeed in this role, you will be able to work in a multi‑disciplinary environment and apply an understanding of environmental consenting processes in the UK as well as an understanding of EIA process and regulations and will have the opportunity to support projects at various stages in the project lifecycle from early stage due diligence, feasibility, masterplanning and through EIA, to consent condition compliance. \n Your key responsibilities will be: \n\n • Project management and coordination of environmental baseline data collection, interpretation of data and collaboration with colleagues and co‑professionals to advise clients on environmental and sustainability constraints and opportunities for development.\n, • Report writing (including due diligence, EIA screening & scoping reports, Environmental Statements, and other environmental reports), review of reporting and coordination of management of spatial data including for the preparation of figures.\n, • Coordination and management of key technical and commercial aspects of project delivery.\n, • Contributing to Impact Assessment business development activities, including the preparation of fee proposals, tender submissions, marketing materials and presentations.\n, • Support the team’s leadership and wider management with team functions, including mentoring junior members of the team.\n, • Developing relationships with both Ramboll colleagues, supply chain partners and our clients.\n, • Relevant degree in environmental sciences, environmental engineering or a related environmental discipline\n, • Master’s degree in an environmental discipline (advantageous)\n, • Strong communication skills both written and oral, with the ability to liaise with colleagues and clients\n, • A keenness for professional development and progression\n\nWhat we can offer you\n\n, • Strong company commitment and ethos centred on sustainable development, including in the data centre, industrial and property sectors\n, • Investment in your development\n, • Leaders you can count on, guided by our Leadership Principles\n, • 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays\n, • Matched pension contributions\n, • Private medical cover and life assurance\n
