Drafting Engineer – Camberley, Surrey Salary: up to £45 - 50,000 | Permanent | Office-based (4–5 days/week) About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drafting Engineer to join our client’s Engineering team at their Camberley office. This is an exciting opportunity to support high-profile engineering projects, providing administrative and technical support to our internal team, with the potential to progress to a Design or Project Engineer role in the future. Provide off-site support for site inspections, data collection, and analysis, including potential offshore projects (training provided). Contribute to the Company’s Quality Management System (ISO 9001) and promote best practices across projects. Undertake occasional travel to UK-wide sites (approx. every 6 weeks) and potential US assignments. What you’ll need Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent. Strong experience in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and DraftSight; mechanical design experience essential. Excellent administrative, organisational, and project coordination skills. Proactive, reliable, and eager with strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Willingness to travel to UK sites and occasional offshore assignments. High standard of written and spoken English. Experience in oil, gas, or renewable offshore sectors desirable but not essential.
