The Opportunity We are looking for a Planning Engineer to join our team at Mossmoran on a permanent basis. It’s expected that two days per week will be to support our Mossmoran site and the rest of your time will be spent supporting other projects remotely. The objective of this role is to deliver a high quality, consistent and competent planning service in accordance with both company & client requirements, standards and procedures, and to support the overall delivery of company goals, objectives and schedule. How you will make an impact • Develop and maintain the master schedule, performing weekly progress updates & Earned Value Reports, • Feed into KAEFERs Bi-Power software with SPI data, • Review and understand all relevant documentation pertaining to the project including scope of services, project execution plan, proposal / project schedule (including manpower projection plan), conditions of contract., • Work within the standard planning / scheduling procedures. Ensure that these procedures fulfil client requirements, • Prepare activity plans to accomplish all work required by the procedures and to ensure that enough planning resources are provided., • Liaise with Client Project Control personnel as necessary -Manpower Projection Plan -Progress 'S' Curves & tabulations -Manhour / Manpower histograms -Short-term look ahead schedules • Monthly progress report including narrative, • Prepare and issue project action reports to Project Manager, • Analyse schedule trends and produce regular forecasts of schedule performance What you will bring • Degree level education (or equivalent), • A background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis., • Excellent communication skills and comfortable managing multiple tasks., • A team player outlook and problem-solving aptitude, • Considerable experience in planning projects, with sufficient knowledge of engineering and design deliverables, EPC planning experience, and experience in planning for projects heavily dependent on EPC principles and delivery., • Experience in fast-track projects:, • Strong familiarity with earned value management and reporting., • P6 experience., • Proficient in Microsoft Excel with ability to program Why KAEFER?
