This role plays a key part in maintaining the critical infrastructure that supports 24/7 operations. Key Responsibilities • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems., • Diagnose faults and perform repairs to ensure system reliability and uptime., • Support minor system upgrades and installations., • Ensure all maintenance work meets statutory and technical compliance standards., • Monitor plant performance and take corrective action as needed., • Maintain accurate records and documentation., • Liaise with contractors and suppliers when necessary., • Promote a safe and compliant working environment. Candidate Profile • Strong background in both electrical and mechanical maintenance (electrical bias)., • Experience in critical environments (e.g. data centres, hospitals, commercial buildings)., • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering., • Up-to-date electrical certifications (e.g. BS 7671)., • Familiar with Permit to Work systems and safe systems of work., • Knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems is advantageous., • Strong fault-finding and decision-making skills., • Commitment to safety, compliance, and high service standards. Primary Objective To support the design and development of innovative multi-source power systems through the creation of high-quality CAD models and drawings (using 3D CAD software "Onshape”). The CAD Designer will assist in turning conceptual ideas into manufacturable components and assemblies, contributing to the engineering team’s delivery of efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable power solutions.
