The Network Systems Engineer is a critical component of the Arista Sales team. This role operates from within the HarperCollins Christian Publishing and HarperCollins Focus 360 business unit, part of a global publishing and distribution initiative within HarperCollins. This unit is responsible for the distribution, marketing, publicity, and sales of HarperCollins Christian Publishing and HarperCollins Focus titles from the US into the UK marketplace. The position is to provide day-to-day support for stock management into the Glasgow distribution centre from the United States and printing facilities around the world, ensuring stock levels are maintained at an appropriate level, providing support for sales & marketing activities to achieve the required goals, and responding to queries and other issues promptly. This is a very busy position and the ability to handle multiple deadlines and queries while remaining calm and collaborative is an essential quality. Responsibilities • Providing administrative support for the Affiliate Publisher and HCCP-HCF UK sales & marketing team., • Maintaining the Master Stock Tracker, • Daily monitoring of the stock and inventory process and stock tracker, • Identifying and chasing up discrepancies/missing stock/late dispatch etc., • Running a weekly inventory report and organising the weekly inventory meeting with the rest of the team, • New title ordering (following UK new title meeting with Affiliate Publisher and Senior Sales Manager), • Monitoring and preparing weekly stock order for frontlist, core stock, Bibles, and UK-specific editions, • Collaborating with US inventory teams on anticipated stock needs, • Maintaining system reserves, • Maintaining out-of-print and print-on-demand activities, • Responding to urgent issues raised by the warehouse and freight company, • Obtaining quotes for, and ordering, locally printed products, • Gathering all files, in collaboration with, and overseen by, the Affiliate Publisher for UK specific editions and ordering the print, • Supplying all necessary files to the printer for locally printed products, • Preparing customer presentations for the sales team, • Updating sales trackers and maintaining the product Mastergrid (weekly update of data), • Maintaining publisher pages and landing pages on third party retail websites, • Submit monthly retailer product information, • Order office samples monthly, and send samples to retailers, distributors, and HarperCollins sales teams, • Responding to customer enquiries and processing orders/returns/credits if needed, • New supplier onboarding, • Monitor incoming mail to enquiry email addresses and referring to the correct person, • Identifying discrepancies in UK data – e.g. incorrect prices, titles, pub dates etc. Getting these corrected, • Running ad hoc reports where needed, • Other support tasks as needed on a day-to-day basis The Ideal Candidate Experience Required • Experience of working in a sales and/or marketing environment, • Experience of high levels of administration within a busy work environment, • Experience of communicating clearly and effectively with internal and external contacts at all levels, • Experience within Publishing or Distribution would be an advantage but not essential. Help us to advance community stewardship, raise awareness about the benefits of street trees and increase tree canopy cover equitably. The Coordinator will manage our volunteer programmes, including recruitment, retention and bringing new ideas for engagement. Responsibilities include promoting and supporting our tree planting initiatives, as well as identifying new opportunities for community involvement. A bit about the Influencer Director role You’ll be responsible for concepting, managing and supporting the development of influencer marketing campaigns and proposals on behalf of our clients whilst helping to lead the influencer marketing team. This role is instrumental in crafting creative influencer-led strategies and running campaigns from the initial briefing process through to execution and everything in-between. You’ll value the importance of seamless day-to-day client servicing and support and manage our wider team. We’re looking for a self-starter who demonstrates resourcefulness and initiative. You’ll own the day-to-day approach and logistics of defining strategies – from theory through to creative ideation, casting, analysis and reporting on robust data and insights. You’ll be comfortable managing talent/talent teams and client relationship through to campaign completion. Key duties and responsibilities • Working with the wider team to execute and enhance a best-in-class influencer marketing service offering, including insight/analytics, innovation, social trend, tools, platforms and campaign measurement, • Utilising creative thinking to best deliver creator activations for our clients, • Driving best practices around campaign delivery, using influencer marketing tools alongside championing the implementation of new tools and processes as required, • Performing competitive analysis, industry research, assessment of best practices and KPIs in a consistently changing landscape, • Leading negotiations on behalf of clients to procure the appropriate influencers and preferable ROI for campaigns and clients, • Acting as key liaison during negotiations, contract execution and live campaigns, • Assisting in the development of pitches to existing clients and for new business, with the ability to be flexible to meet the needs of the pitch., • Showcasing inherent contractual understanding – ability to draft, negotiate and execute robust influencer agreements, ensuring templates are up to date with the ever-evolving nature of the industry Using an existing network of contacts / relationships and industry knowledge to build and fast-track opportunities, • Keeping abreast of current projects in development; collaborate with wider team to brainstorm and create opportunities for clients, • Displaying best-in-class activation and project management skills, • Maintaining a complete grasp of client’s business, needs and objectives – what they do and what they want to achieve, taking ownership and accountability for work and projects, • Leading by example, providing adequate support and mentorship to junior members of the team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration, including managing upwards to the senior team as required Overseeing the formal client review process and take responsibility for the internal “Wash Up” process on completion of each project, • Taking ownership of effective account planning, ensuring resources are aligned to meet client demands at all times, • Holding accountability for accurate project budgets, in conjunction with senior management when required, • Working with finance to oversee and implement timely generation of required invoices and the overseeing of influencer payments, • Demonstrating high levels of commerciality and applying a keen understanding of the broader marketing environment A bit about you Must have: • A natural client servicing ability. You'll be approachable and very personable with a can-do attitude., • Previous experience leading large scale inflection campaigns in a fast paced environment, • Ability to work well with other teams such as strategy, creative and social to ensure that clients needs are always covered, • Confident in ‘owning the room’ and with public speaking with excellent presentation skills, • Highly organised and process driven with strong time management and the ability to multitask and manage simultaneous projects, changing priorities when needed, • Thorough approach to solving problems and ability to mediate with a work ethic than embodies “how can we make this happen”, • Is a change champion and pioneers new ideas and approaches, • Committed to deliver results and goes after the target with a strong focus on KPIs, • A social media expert with deep knowledge of platforms and trends, • Expert knowledge in data collation and influencer analytics, • Competent computer skills, can produce PowerPoint presentations that engage and captivate, • A keen understanding of the key benefits of the Influencer business and the commercial requirements, • Knowledge & experience in the implementation and optimisation of paid social campaigns – experience in Instagram, Facebook Business Manager, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn and Snapchat, • Ability to conduct competitor analyses to understand how our clients’ competitors leverage influencers and identify any gaps or opportunities for our clients, • Advanced proficiency with digital analytics and social tools, as well as Excel, Power Point and Creator IQ. Knowledge of social listening tools, audience planning tools and strategic tools are a bonus, • Adept in campaign tracking and utilisation of research tools and can adeptly synthesise insights from data, using insights and identified trends to inform future strategies and overall best practice approach, • You’ll understand the difference between dwell time and views, reach and impressions and can answer questions about fluctuations in influencer engagements category with confidence and ease, • A natural curiosity to be always learning our evolving industry - reading, watching, listening to stay abreast of cultural trends that can inform and impact our work, • Highly adaptive to changing client and team/business needs.
