This is a high-visibility role where you will act as the central nervous system for operational standards—partnering with teams across Logistics, Warehousing, Quality Assurance, and Procurement. Responsibilities As the subject matter expert, you will lead three critical business pillars: • Health & Safety: Act as the primary safety contact, conducting risk assessments, investigating incidents, and fostering a culture of safety for staff and visitors., • Sustainability & Social Impact: Lead the journey toward Net-Zero. You will oversee carbon footprint analysis, waste reduction, and ethical supply chain transparency, ensuring the company meets its global ESG milestones., • Operational Excellence & Accreditations: Take the lead on major 2026 initiatives, including ISO 9001, Cyber Essentials Plus, and a comprehensive building entry system upgrade. The 2026 Roadmap Your first year will be fast-paced and project-rich. Key initiatives include: • Digital Transformation: Upgrading to Teams calling and a new building entry system., • Security & Quality: Securing ISO 9001 and Cyber Essentials Plus accreditations., • Strategic Growth: Supporting the setup of a new Homecare service and leading a company-wide data cleansing project., • Infrastructure: Conducting a full storage review and planning session to optimize the operational footprint. Who You Are We are looking for a "pragmatic perfectionist"—someone who is obsessed with the details but never loses sight of the human element. • Experienced: You have a proven track record in Operations, Compliance, H&S, or Sustainability-related roles., • Certified: Knowledge of ISO frameworks is essential; an IOSH certification is highly desirable., • Communicator: You can translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable plans for diverse internal stakeholders., • Adaptable: You thrive in fast-paced environments and can manage multiple deadlines with ease., • Driven: You are self-motivated, practical, and take genuine ownership of your projects.
