Financial Accountant West London (Hybrid) Up to £55,000 + benefits 2–3 days in office The Opportunity We are working with a large, internationally recognised services business operating within a fast-paced, operationally complex environment. The organisation supports major global clients and has a strong presence across the UK, offering excellent exposure and long-term career progression within a high-performing finance team. This is a great opportunity for a Financial Accountant looking to step into a broad role with both reporting and business-facing elements, working closely with senior stakeholders. Key Responsibilities • Preparation of monthly management accounts (P&L and balance sheet), • Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of strong financial controls, • Support with statutory accounts and year-end audit process, • Assist with budgeting and forecasting cycles, • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies, • Preparation and review of VAT returns and tax-related requirements, • Partner with FP&A and wider business teams to provide insight and analysis, • Support ongoing process improvements and systems enhancements Candidate Profile • Strong grounding in financial reporting and controls, • Good systems experience (Excel and ERP systems), • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines, • Confident communicator, able to engage with both finance and non-finance stakeholders What’s on Offer • Hybrid working (3 days in office), • Clear progression pathway (e.g. Financial Controller / Finance Manager), • Exposure to senior stakeholders and a high-calibre finance function, • Broad, well-rounded role with both technical and commercial exposure
