Brazer / Welder\nLocation: Near Uxbridge (commutable from Denham, Slough, Wembley, High Wycombe, Watford, Luton, Hemel Hempstead etc)\nSalary: £35,500 starting salary + excellent benefits\nHours: Monday–Thursday 08:00–17:00, Friday 08:00–12:00\n\nIf you’re a skilled Brazer/Welder looking to step into a high-spec engineering environment, this is a chance to work on complex assemblies where quality, accuracy, and consistency are everything.\n\nYou’ll be joining a well-established British engineering manufacturer with a global reputation, producing critical components for advanced aerospace systems.\n\nWhat’s in it for you\n\n £35,500 starting salary\n\n 9% non-contributory pension\n\n 25 days holiday + bank holidays\n\n Early finish every Friday\n\n Healthcare cash plan\n\n 4x life assurance\n\n Ongoing training and development\n\n Opportunity to buy additional annual leave\n\n Cycle to work scheme\n\nWhat you’ll be doing\n\n Carrying out brazing operations (low-temp silver and high-temp brass) on pipes, fittings, and sub-assemblies\n\n Performing arc welding (including TIG) on aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel components\n\n Working to high aerospace standards and specifications\n\n Setting and operating spot welding equipment\n\n Preparing components including deburring, polishing, and cleaning\n\n Completing inspection checks including ball bearing tests and visual quality checks\n\n Supporting development work, including proof-of-concept welding activities\n\n Assisting with welding tasks across maintenance and production when required\n\nWhat they’re looking for\n\n Previous experience in brazing and arc welding within an engineering or manufacturing environment\n\n Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings\n\n Experience using measuring equipment and workshop tools (grinders, gas cutters, etc.)\n\n Familiarity with TIG (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) processes\n\n Strong attention to detail and quality standards\n\n Experience working with aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel\n\n Ideally certified to relevant welding standards (e.g. aerospace or BS/EN equivalents)\n\n * Hands-on, reliable, and comfortable working in a production environment\n\nWhy apply?\n\nThis isn’t just another welding job.
