Key Responsibilities\n\n • Manage the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, including goods receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch and returns.\n, • Maintain a safe, clean, secure and well-organised warehouse environment, ensuring Health & Safety standards are upheld at all times.\n, • Manage stock receipt, storage, movements and inventory accuracy using ERP and warehouse systems.\n, • Carry out regular stock counts and reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.\n, • Ensure stock rotation procedures and inventory controls are consistently maintained.\n, • Complete incoming goods inspections and ensure products meet quality standards before being stored.\n, • Manage and track demonstration and loan equipment, ensuring items are prepared, recorded, maintained and returned to specification.\n, • Oversee order assembly, product configuration and pre-dispatch checks to ensure accuracy and quality.\n, • Coordinate order fulfilment to ensure customer deliveries are completed accurately and on time.\n, • Manage courier bookings and freight movements while maintaining strong relationships with logistics providers.\n, • Investigate delivery issues, monitor shipments and resolve transport queries efficiently.\n, • Support warehouse layout improvements, storage optimisation and future capacity planning.\n, • Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.\n, • Lead the day-to-day operation of a new Warehouse Management System following implementation, contributing throughout the project lifecycle including process design, testing and user acceptance.\n\n This role is ideal for someone who wants to make a real impact rather than simply maintain existing processes. \n Our client is investing heavily in developing its warehouse and logistics function and is looking for someone who can bring experience, fresh ideas and a continuous improvement mindset to help build a highly efficient, scalable operation. \n You'll have the opportunity to influence how the warehouse operates, introduce improvements and help establish best practice across the function. \n The successful candidate will be: \n\n • A hands-on operational leader who enjoys being on the warehouse floor.\n, • Experienced in warehouse operations, inventory management and process improvement.\n, • Comfortable challenging existing ways of working and implementing positive change.\n, • Passionate about creating organised, efficient and scalable warehouse operations.\n, • A strong communicator who works collaboratively across multiple departments.\n, • Someone who thrives on ownership, accountability and delivering operational excellence.\n\n Experience supporting the implementation of a Warehouse Management System or introducing operational improvements within a warehouse environment would be highly advantageous. About You\n To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have: \n\n • Previous experience in a Warehouse Manager or similar leadership position.\n, • Strong warehouse operations and inventory management experience.\n, • Experience using ERP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or similar inventory management software.\n, • Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.\n, • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop others.\n, • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.\n, • Good knowledge of warehouse health & safety and operational best practices.\n, • The confidence to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nWhat's on Offer\n\n, • Competitive salary and benefits package.\n, • The opportunity to lead and shape a key operational function.\n, • Involvement in an exciting Warehouse Management System implementation.\n, • A varied, hands-on role with genuine responsibility and autonomy.\n, • The chance to drive continuous improvement and make a lasting impact within a growing business.\n\n \n Please note: \n As you can appreciate we are currently overwhelmed with applications of individuals looking for both short term and permanent work and we can therefore only contact those applications that have relevant skills for positions that we currently have available.
