Location: 81 COOPERS LANE, CLACTON ON SEA, Essex, CO15 2BX
Salary Range: £31,000 - £39,000 per annum
Working Time: Monday to Friday, 4:30 PM to 11:00 PM, and on Saturday, 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Job Responsibilities: 1. Prepare and cook authentic Chinese cuisine, including Peking, Szechuan, and Cantonese dishes, ensuring consistent taste and high-quality standards. 2. Design and develop menu items to meet customer preferences and market trends. 3. Manage the procurement of ingredients and inventory, ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently. 4. Maintain the kitchen's hygiene and safety standards in compliance with food safety regulations. 5. Monitor and manage food costs to maximize profitability without compromising quality. 6. Handle high-pressure kitchen environments during peak hours while ensuring smooth operations. Requirements: 1. Familiar with working in Chinese cuisine, with expertise in Peking, Szechuan, and Cantonese cooking techniques. 2. Strong knowledge of kitchen management, including food preparation, hygiene, and inventory control. 3. Ability to innovate and create new dishes to enhance customer satisfaction. 4. Excellent teamwork and leadership skills, capable of managing and mentoring staff. 5. Familiarity with food safety regulations and ability to adhere to these standards. 6.
