These role requires someone with a deep understanding of sourdough techniques, who is comfortable working early mornings/nights thrives in a team environment, and genuinely cares about their craft and the success of the business. We are currently expanding into a new unit, opposite our existing one. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and bake a variety of sourdough and yeasted breads to a high standard Maintain and feed sourdough starters with care and consistency Collaborate closely with the baking team to ensure smooth daily operations Follow and improve upon existing recipes and processes Ensure cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards are maintained in the kitchen Be flexible with shift patterns, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays Support the broader goals of the business and contribute ideas for improvement What We’re Looking For: 2+ years of professional baking experience, with a focus on sourdough Strong knowledge of fermentation, shaping, and baking techniques A team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills A proactive attitude and willingness to adapt to the needs of the day Passion for baking, food quality, and customer satisfaction Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage time well A genuine care for the business and a desire to contribute to its success What We Offer: A supportive and passionate team environment Opportunity to be part of a growing, community-focused bakery Room for growth and development for the right candidate.
