We are seeking an efficient and proactive individual to play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation within our kitchen, ensuring seamless operations for our culinary team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within the hospitality industry, particularly in a fast-paced yet friendly atmosphere. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain impeccable hygiene by thoroughly washing, cleaning, and sanitising all kitchen equipment, including pots, pans, utensils, and work surfaces, ensuring they are ready for immediate use., • Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision, such as peeling, chopping, and organising ingredients., • Ensure all work areas, floors, and storage areas are kept clean and tidy in strict accordance with health and safety regulations., • Support the kitchen team during service hours by ensuring all necessary equipment is clean, available, and restocked., • Manage waste and recycling materials effectively, upholding environmental standards., • Restock supplies and maintain an organised and efficient storage system., • Adhere rigorously to all food safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times. Candidate Profile: • While previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is desirable, comprehensive training will be provided for the right candidate., • Familiarity with kitchen safety procedures and hygiene standards is advantageous., • The ability to thrive in a busy environment is beneficial, but not mandatory., • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
