Clinical Responsibilities\n \n • Deliver face‑to‑face, telephone and online consultations\n, • Assess, diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions\n, • Undertake home visits where clinically appropriate\n, • Prescribe safely in accordance with local and national guidance\n, • Review pathology results and clinical correspondence\n, • Maintain accurate, contemporaneous electronic clinical records\n, • Support safeguarding, clinical governance and patient safety processes\n, • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, QOF and enhanced services\n, • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider multidisciplinary team\n Working Pattern\n Clinical sessions are 4 hours and 10 minutes, designed to support safe, effective patient care. \n Each session includes: \n \n • 15‑minute face‑to‑face appointments\n, • 10‑minute telephone consultations\n, • One allocated home visit slot\n, • Protected administration time for reviewing results, correspondence, repeat prescriptions and other clinical tasks\n \n All GPs participate in a shared Duty GP rota, managing same‑day clinical triage and urgent appointment allocation. About the Practice\n Our client is a successful GP training and teaching practice providing care to approximately 9,200 patients in Birmingham. \n The practice has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality patient care while fostering a supportive environment where clinicians are encouraged to grow professionally and develop specialist interests. Multidisciplinary Team\n \n • GP Partners\n, • Salaried GPs\n, • Advanced Nurse Practitioners\n, • Practice Nurses\n, • Healthcare Assistants\n, • Clinical Pharmacists\n, • Paramedics\n, • Dedicated Reception and Administrative Teams\n \n The practice is an active member of a great PCN, working collaboratively with neighbouring practices and community services to improve healthcare outcomes across the local population.
