Job Description Facilities Technician 3 – Mobile HVAC/Maintenance | Albany, NY | 3-Month Contract | Onsite Serve as a Mobile HVAC/Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining and repairing HVAC and building systems across multiple commercial facilities. Travel between up to 20 sites (within ~85 miles of Albany) using a company-provided vehicle. This role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, emergency repairs, inspections, and general building maintenance across diverse facility types. POSITION OVERVIEW: • Title: Facilities Technician 3, • Type: Contract, • Duration: 3 months (May 18, 2026 – August 18, 2026), • Hours: 40 hours per week, • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM EST, • Work Type: Onsite (mobile across multiple sites), • Reporting Location: Albany, NY (1125 Broadway), • Travel: Up to ~85 miles from Albany, covering up to 20 sites COMPENSATION: • Pay Rate: $28.00/hour WORK ENVIRONMENT & TRAVEL: • Coverage Area: Multiple facilities within ~85-mile radius of Albany, • Facility Types: Office spaces, warehouses, barns, garages, commercial facilities, • Transportation: Company-provided vehicle for site travel, • On-Call Support: Required for occasional after-hours emergencies, • Tools Provided: Candidate will be provided tools required to perform assigned work scope KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: HVAC SYSTEMS & MAINTENANCE: • Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC systems and associated equipment, • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance on HVAC systems across assigned facilities, • Conduct HVAC repair and troubleshooting, • Execute emergency HVAC repairs and rapid response to system failures, • Perform preventive maintenance inspections and scheduling, • Document maintenance activities and system conditions BUILDING SYSTEMS & EQUIPMENT: • Maintain and repair electrical distribution equipment, • Service and repair plumbing systems, • Handle building interior and exterior repairs, • Manage grounds maintenance as it pertains to assigned buildings, • Study and become familiar with building automation systems, • Operate and maintain fire/life safety systems, • Troubleshoot and repair building-related equipment FACILITY INSPECTIONS & REPORTING: • Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, • Report on as-found conditions impacting client occupancy and operations, • Prepare and submit summary reports to management, • Document conditions found during assigned work, • Recommend and suggest corrective actions as needed EMERGENCY RESPONSE & SAFETY: • Respond effectively to all building-related emergencies, • Recognize danger and safety hazards, • Propose methods to eliminate identified safety hazards, • Comply with all safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping, • Maintain compliance with State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, and Laws, • Support after-hours building-related activities as required PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: • Attend periodic training seminars, • Maintain and update technical certifications, • Stay current with building systems and equipment updates, • Perform other assigned operational tasks typical of Mobile Engineer role REQUIREMENTS: CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES: • Universal EPA 608 Certification (mandatory), • Valid state driver's license required, • Commercial HVAC certifications preferred EXPERIENCE: • Minimum 4 years of technical/commercial HVAC experience required, • Proven HVAC repair and troubleshooting experience, • Demonstrated preventive maintenance expertise, • Commercial facility maintenance background, • Experience with electrical and plumbing maintenance, • Multi-site facility experience preferred, • Emergency repair response experience preferred SKILLS & ABILITIES: • Expertise in Universal EPA 608 certified HVAC work, • Technical/commercial HVAC knowledge and troubleshooting, • Electrical and plumbing maintenance skills, • Building automation systems familiarity, • Fire/life safety systems knowledge, • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities, • Excellent attention to detail and workmanship standards, • Ability to work independently across multiple sites, • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs regularly, • Ability to climb ladders up to 30 feet, • Valid driver's license with clean driving record, • Willingness to
