Job Description Job Summary: As a General Manager, you are responsible for overseeing and managing the day-today operations of your location. Your role includes ensuring smooth operations, maintaining high-quality standards, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Your ongoing dedication to food safety, cost control, guest service, cleanliness, and team leadership is essential to our continued success. Key Responsibilities: Overall Operations Management: • Ensure smooth daily operations while maintaining high service and quality standards., • Oversee staffing, scheduling, and ensuring all shifts are covered., • Follow all scheduling requirements and obtain prior approval for any adjustments. Staff Management: • Hire, train, schedule, develop, and supervise employees., • Build and manage a strong team while fostering a positive work environment., • Ensure all shifts are covered, including your own, and adhere to scheduling parameters., • Maintain a drama-free workplace by resolving conflicts professionally. Financial Management: • Control food and labor costs, as well as cash handling and operating supplies., • Monitor sales and review electronic records to detect irregularities or theft. Guest Service: • Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction and promptly address complaints or concerns., • Maintain access to the SMG app and ensure guest complaints are resolved within 24 hours. Communication: • Maintain open communication with your team and franchisee., • Resolve conflicts between employees and ensure a professional work environment. Quality Control & Compliance: • Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards., • Monitor food preparation, temperatures, and storage following FIFO guidelines., • Ensure compliance with Health Department, Dairy, and Fire Department inspections., • Enforce the daily and weekly detailed cleaning schedule. Inventory Management: • Oversee inventory levels, manage stock rotation, and track food costs. • Complete daily inventory checks, mid-month food cost reports, and month-end audits., • Ensure operating supplies remain within budget constraints. Labor Law Compliance: • Ensure all state-mandated rest and meal breaks are followed. • Keep up to date with labor laws and ensure all required employee certifications are current., • Monitor and enforce work permit restrictions for minors. Technology & Reporting: • Maintain access to Galardi Mail for business communications., • Utilize company platforms such as GGILearn for ongoing training and updates. Expectations for Continued Growth: • Demonstrate leadership by mentoring team members and refining management skills. • Proactively implement solutions to improve operations., • Adapt to evolving business needs and company goals., • Maintain a results-driven mindset with a focus on team performance and guest satisfaction. Qualifications: • Experience in a General Manager role or equivalent leadership experience within the quick-serve restaurant industry., • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to analyze financial metrics and adjust operations accordingly., • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards. • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
