Our Legal team plays a crucial role in shaping and safeguarding the company's growth as we expand globally. About the Role As the Associate General Counsel, Employment, you will serve as a key advisor on global employment matters for a fast-growing technology company. You'll work cross-functionally with People, Corporate Development, Global Expansion, Data Center Operations, Finance, Tax, and other stakeholders to provide strategic legal guidance on all aspects of the employee lifecycle — from recruiting and onboarding to performance management, policy development, and compliance. This role will lead complex employment matters, scale frameworks to support CoreWeave's expanding international footprint, and help craft proactive strategies for our global workforce. You'll report to the Deputy General Counsel, Corporate. Who You Are: • Minimum 8 years of relevant employment law experience, with significant in-house experience at a global technology or publicly traded company and prior law firm background., • Deep subject matter expertise in employment law, including global workforce management, employment & separation agreements, handbooks and employee policies, leaves, accommodations, terminations, wage & hour and classification matters, litigation, and employment considerations in M&A., • Demonstrated ability to provide business-focused, pragmatic advice in a fast-paced, high-growth environment., • Skilled in drafting, interpreting, and implementing policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks across multiple jurisdictions., • Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership., • J.D. degree and active membership in at least one state bar (New York, New Jersey, California, Washington, or Washington D.C. preferred). Preferred: • Experience supporting high-growth, global technology organizations., • Prior work managing EORs/PEOs and complex cross-border employment issues., • Proven ability to manage outside counsel efficiently and strategically. Compensation: The base salary range for this role is $161,000 to $237,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. CoreWeave strives for both market alignment and internal equity in compensation. Our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).
