Automotive Parts Counterperson Responsibilities As a Parts Counterperson, you play a key role in dealership operations and customer satisfaction: • Assist customers and technicians with automotive parts sales and inquiries, • Accurately identify and specify parts and accessories, • Process parts orders, returns, warranties, and core charges, • Maintain accurate records of all transactions, • Answer phones promptly and assist customers professionally, • Follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery, • Cross-sell parts, accessories, and product lines, • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts department, • Support inventory management and stocking, • Work closely with service and sales departments✅ Qualifications, • Previous automotive parts experience or dealership experience preferred, • Strong customer service and communication skills, • Knowledge of automotive systems and parts lookup processes, • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, • Comfortable using dealership software (CDK or similar a plus), • Reliable team player with a professional attitude????
