Job Description Veterinary Assistant duties and responsibilities Experience with handling animals preferred or other work related experience. Specific duties and responsibilities of Veterinary Assistants include: 1. Assist in managing stock, 9. Must be able lift/carry 50 lbs. And assist in lifting/carrying heavier dogs.
