Job Summary: To provide direct services to individuals and families with complex trauma, abuse or neglects, and intimate partner violence issues with the goal of increasing stabilization, safety and well-being. Direct services include assessments, intervention education, and linkage with needed community-based resources and services. Duties and Responsibilities: · Assess and refer children/individuals/families to supportive and concrete services, housing, financial assistance, education, substance use, mental health, medical, immigration, legal, etc. · Provide case planning, assessment, crisis intervention, establish goals and objectives and counseling services for families who have a child at risk of Foster Care placement. · Conduct assessments of families within 30 days of intake and reviewed review and update in 6 months after intake. · Participate and attend all ACS, OCFS, Agency and Model Developer training as requested or required. · Provide crisis intervention and counseling services to children, teens, individuals and families. · Collaborate with program case aid/advocate in aiding and supporting families in obtaining resources, support services, and advocacy assistance. · Collaborate with ACS to monitor compliance with mandated services and family attendance of court hearings. · Collaborate with ACS legal team to ensure all service needs are being addressed by families. · Document and maintains all mandated tracking logs/excel sheets, case record electronic systems, and document in a timely manner. · Complete all program required paperwork, i.e., Progress Notes, Program Family Assessments, Family Assessment Service Plans (FASPs), and other reporting requirements. · Request, participate, facilitate and or attend conferences, meetings internal or external to the agency. · Assist individuals and families in developing services plans addressing safety, stabilization, substance use, mental health, domestic violence, from a harm reduction approach. · Participate in weekly Supervision, with a planned agenda on family case issues to discuss· Implement Quality Assurance data to drive case practice and improve performance and achieve outcomes. · Monitor and obtain information on the child/ren school placement and educational performance. · Monitor and obtain information on the family’s medical needs, including compliance with periodic physicals and immunizations. Job Description Job Summary The Director will lead the production and ongoing management of investment-related deliverables for the Company's institutional businesses, including Pension Risk Transfer (PRT), Funding Agreement Backed Notes (FABN), and the offshore reinsurance platform. This role serves as a senior technical and strategic resource across the institutional investment team, providing thought partnership to portfolio managers, independently driving cross-functional initiatives, and developing new analytical capabilities with minimal direction. A core focus of the role is portfolio oversight and decision support, requiring the ability to synthesize complex information, identify emerging issues, and recommend actionable solutions across ALM, new business, and in-force management workstreams. The position reports to the AVP of Investments and works closely with external asset managers and internal stakeholders across Investments, Treasury, Actuarial, Finance, and FP&A to ensure alignment, execution, and continuity of investment-related initiatives. Job Summary: The Seamen’s Society Youth Services Program (YES) provides a holistic approach to working with middle school and high school students in Foster Care. Aligned with the 7 Core Principles of the Fair Futures Initiative our program seeks to surround our youth with individualized and catered attention and support. The department aims to put youth on stable path by focusing on their success in high school, college and career development. The program remains with a youth from 9th grade through age 26, or until they are on a living wage career path. Empowerment Coaches will work solely with youth from age 14 to 26 years old in our Foster Care program and youth that have been discharged from care. The Coaches will build trusting relationships and provide social and emotional support to the youth. The coach will be there for the youth, help them navigate any challenges, celebrate successes, and plan for the future. Duties and Responsibilities: • Work one-on-one with each young person on their coach load to create individual goals. Uses Motivational Interviewing techniques to develop and follow action plans to reach these goals, with consistent support, communication, and follow-through., • Use goal setting tools to develop customized action plans for each youth to help them reach their goals., • Establish strong relationships with adolescents and young adults using effective modeling of pro-social skills., • Work collaboratively with other system providers in the youth’s life including to help ensure that the varied systems are driving towards similar goals in a coordinated fashion., • Communicate regularly with parents/foster parents/adult supports to plan with them for youth success, and to support them in helping the youth in their care, reach their goals., • Encourage youth to attend therapeutic peer groups which focus on skills such as healthy communication, positive peer relationships, dealing with peer pressure, and service learning., • Works closely with the Educational Specialist/Coordinator to help students apply for college., • Works closely with the Career and Internship Specialist to help students secure employment and thrive in the workplace., • Works closely with the Housing Specialist to help the youth secure after care housing solutions., • Visit schools to meet with guidance counselors or other school officials.
