    Absurd Technologies LLC is conducting ongoing testing, research, and environment monitoring for software and cloud-based services. We are seeking individuals to provide access to a powered-on laptop in a stable home environment. This role does not require technical tasks or special skills. Responsibilities • Keep a company-provided or approved laptop powered on and connected to the internet., • Ensure the device remains in an indoor location without movement or travel., • Allow Absurd Technologies LLC to operate automated software tools for research and testing., • Notify us if you anticipate internet outages, power issues, or device problems. What We Provide • All software installation, monitoring, and updates, • Technical configuration, • Security and compliance measures, • System performance tracking, • Remote maintenance You are not required to operate the device or understand the technology. Compensation • $100/month for the first two months, • $200/month starting from month three, • Monthly payments There are no hourly requirements; compensation is for maintaining availability. Requirements • Stable internet connection (home broadband preferred), • Safe indoor space for the hosting laptop, • Ability to keep the device powered on reliably, • Basic ability to communicate if issues arise No background checks, degrees, or technical skills are required.

    Support Engineers work on all level reactive tickets. The Support Engineers possess a broad range of both technical and business skills, as well as the ability to find common trends to bring up to management for possible automation. Our Support Engineers work closely with our clients and other internal resources to provide best in class IT services, therefore excellent oral and written communication skills are required. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop and maintain knowledge of client networks, • Work directly with clients to provide reactive technical support, • Support Desk Scheduling, • Identify trends and underlying technology issues impacting tickets per endpoint (TPE), • Collaborate with team to assess process improvement opportunities, assess tools, etc. to improve Support operations, • Keep manager informed of issues that may impact the organization, • Ensure best practice methods are in use wherever possible and assist in the growth of services practice, be they incidental, contractual, or managed service provisioning., • Implement DATA "Company Way", • Implements & helps define best practices, • Handle every ticket with a business first mindset, • Own every ticket to completion even when escalating in necessary, • Proven ability to set and manage client expectations, • Exceptional customer service and communication skills QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS • Communication, Oral - Speaks clearly and persuasively; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; participates in meetings., • Communication, Written - Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely; edits work for spelling and grammar; varies style to meet needs; presents numerical data effectively., • Problem Solving - Identifies problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; resolves problems in early stages; works well in group solving situations., • Business Ethics - Treats people with respect; keeps commitments; inspires the trust of others; works with integrity and ethically; upholds organizational values., • Analytical Skills - Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem., • Able to normalize the tech jargon when communicating with clients in a professional way, • Skills And Experience:, • 5 plus years of experience in network / IT systems and troubleshooting steps, • Experience with helpdesk/desktop support, • Experience with Microsoft 365, Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams, • Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory Management, Group Policy, Etc., • A general understanding of TCPIP, DNS, DHCP, and RADIUS, • Hands on experience with virus, spyware, and malware removal, • Network troubleshooting skills, • Experience installing and supporting Microsoft Office Suite, • Experience in Firewall, Spam Filtering, AV and other security tool management

    Seeking a Sr Data Quality Engineer for installation, configuration & ongoing administration of the Collibra Data Quality (DQ) platform, implement data quality checks, validation rules & anomaly detection in Collibra DQ plus solution development & integration. Duration: contract position/6-12 months Work location: NYC (midtown) (onsite) Key responsibilities: -Design & implement data quality checks, validation rules & anomaly detection in Collibra DQ to improve accuracy, completeness, and trust. -Build & maintain workflows & automated remediation processes within the platform. -Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain the Collibra DQ application & related components. -Develop and support Collibra workflows, API integration & Java-based solutions. -Connect to and scan databases/data lakes; integrate with RDBMS, Snowflake, and REST/Java APIs. -Implement CI/CD & version control (e.g., GitHub) for DQ artifacts and integration. -Develop microservices & solutions using API/Event-Driven Architecture. -Communicate & coordinate platform upgrades & major releases. -Onboard users, deliver training & support data governance & steward teams. Duration: contract position/6-12 months Rate:$65.00-$75.00 per hr. (all inclusive) Required exp./skills: -Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent exp.). -At least 12 yrs. of Data Engineering and/or Data Governance exp. -At least 5 yrs. of hands-on with Collibra Data Quality (configuration, administration & rule design). -Proven exp. installing, administering, and customizing enterprise DQ applications. -Collibra workflow design/implementation; strong Java and API development skills. -Exp. integrating Collibra with enterprise data platforms & services (e.g., Snowflake, RDBMS & REST). Preferred exp./skills: -Developing custom integration using Collibra APIs. -Building governance metrics/scorecards using Collibra DQ metadata. -At least 5 yrs. implementing Collibra integration (workflows, connectors & automation)
