The role focuses on the design, development, testing, and production of RF Power Amplifier devices and systems, providing solutions to both routine and complex engineering issues under general supervision. Key Responsibilities: • Evaluate and test RF circuits, systems, and modules to meet specifications; modify as needed to achieve performance goals, • Conduct Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) on complete RF Power Amplifier Systems, • Develop and prototype new RF power amplifier gain stages, ensuring compliance with high-performance specifications, • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure accurate data transfer and process control during product transition to manufacturing, • Design and develop next-generation RF systems specifically tailored for defense and medical applications in the IMHZ-2GHZ range, • Provide technical support and coordination to facilitate product development, manufacturing, and the transition of new designs into production, • Assist in preparing technical bids and proposals; occasionally attend customer design reviews and field-testing activitiesQualifications: Education: • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Mechanical Engineering, Applied Science, or equivalent experience without a degreeExperience:, • 35 years of experience in microwave/RF design and developmentTechnical Skills:, • Proficiency in RF/microwave design and PCB layout, • Hands-on experience with testing, tuning, and modifying RF circuits, • Familiarity with CAD and simulation tools (ADS, HFSS, AutoCAD, PADS is a plus), • Skilled in using RF test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and oscilloscopesSpecialized Knowledge:, • Experience in high-power solid-state amplifier design, • Familiarity with both packaged surface mount components and bare die technologies, • Experience with circuits operating up to 2GHZPreferred Qualifications:, • Proven experience in designing high-power solid-state RF amplifiers, • Knowledge of advanced simulation tools and RF design techniques, • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally for customer support and field service
